Ana Pinheiro Privette
Dr. Ana Pinheiro Privette is a seasoned professional at the intersection of science, engineering, technology and leadership, with a focus on climate change and sustainability. Her work centers on harnessing data-driven processes to foster innovation, build resilient communities, and drive equitable, sustainable futures. Currently serving as the Director of Research Applications and New Research Initiatives at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Ana also manages the Center for Secure Water. Before joining UIUC, and among other roles, Ana was the Head of Sustainability Impact Computing at Amazon Web Services, the Global Lead for the Amazon Sustainability Data Initiative (ASDI) at Amazon, and Chief Data Scientist for the White House Climate Data Initiative (CDI).
