Stella Chelangat Mutai is a Geospatial consultant for The UN World Food Programme.
Stella's work focuses on the Emergency, Monitoring and Evaluation department, covering the regional bureau of Southern and Eastern Africa. Her role demonstrates her competency in supporting the use of Earth Observation (EO) and geospatial technology in humanitarian aid response and providing support with spatial analysis on natural hazards, environmental degradation and other datasets through the development and implementation of Earth Observation (EO) based solutions.
Stella is keenly focused on promoting the use of geospatial and AI for Disaster Resilience and Response/Climate and Emergency preparedness and response, majorly supporting humanitarian mapping and disaster risk analysis, using Earth Observation (EO).
