Salote Covilati

Salote Covilati, hailing from the vibrant islands of Fiji, completed her degree in Geospatial Science from the University of the South Pacific in March 2023.

At 24 years old, she co-founded the Noda Vanua OSM GIS club at the university and successfully led a year-long funded project in 2023, whilst also teaching as an assistant for first and second year GIS students. Currently, Salote is a Pacific Geospatial Women Network Technical Assistant at the Pacific Community.
